100,000–350,000 on the Scoville scale! So HOT! Talkin’ about Habaneros. This recipe is a knock off of a local Portland company. Za sauce we have here has a citrus-spicy flavor, ya? It’s warm, but not hot, it’s good but not great. Ok, that last one was a lie. It’s great for naan, sandwiches, bagels, pizza, or whatever you can think of.
14.5 oz can of diced tomatoes and include the juice
7 oz of rice wine vinegar
1-1/2 cups of grated carrots
1 cup diced white onion
1/4 cup yellow mustard
1/3 cup sugar
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
12 diced habaneros, remove the seeds and membranes
2 teaspoons curry powder
1 cup of water
5 cloves of garlic
Get out the crock pot and throw it all in. Let this cook for 2.5 to 3 hours until ingredients are soft. Throw it in the blender till just a touch of texture is left. I used my empty jugs for sauce dispensers, you won’t need to worry about confusing the two when filling your flask, you can smell the difference...even if it's 4 am.
